I chose to release this song first because honoring service, sacrifice, and shared responsibility matters deeply to me. Where our country is right now feels heavy and divided, and it felt important to begin with something rooted in respect, gratitude, and reflection. This release is meant to honor those who have served, those who continue to serve, those who have been wounded or lost, and the families who sacrifice alongside them. As we approach the 250th year of our country, this song is a pause to remember the human cost of service and the responsibility we share to honor it with care.
